| During my school days when I was running after football as a centre forward I had never imagined that I would be a dancer
some day. When my Head Master once asked me "What you intend to be in
future ?" I had answered "I want to be an Engineer" and to
my astonishment these days I found dance is the real subject of
engineering full of heaps of artistic mathematical expressions
scientifically coined with fantastic thoughts.
During 1962-63 in my college days
when I was marching with rifle in the contingent of guard of honor before
the then President Dr. S. Radhakrishnan the idea of being a dancer had not
crept into my mind at all. Secondly when I was building my charactre as a
sportsman (sprinter), my major event, there was smooth but transitory
phase modulated into medium of acting and painting. Even when I took
acting as my hobby along with my sports activity (table tennis), I had no
thought about my entry into the field of dance and music. It has so ever
and whenever I got chance to learn I never missed to avail the same. This
tendency to learn still continues and shall continue till my last breath.
