1. Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India awarded Senior Fellowship to conduct Research work in Natya Sashtra and Debadasi repertory pattern as well as mission for Physically Handicapped.
2. My student Sakti Swarupa who has been trained in spite of her disability in speech and hearing, got Red Cross Award at Soochana Bhavan, Bhubaneswar on occasion of International Red Cross day. She is also adjudged a national level performer in Odissi.

1991

1. I was treated as new point in the almost dried up stream of debadasi Tradition and only available exponent for tradition and style of Mahari passed down by Guru Padmashree Pankaj Charan Das. Iwas also the first male exponent to perform Odissi in Lucknow never staged earlier.
